COVID-19: How to stay sane, healthy, and connected
A lot has changed in the last few weeks. We are dealing with uncertainty, fear, and isolation-- and we are unsure of how long all of this will last. Rather than letting fear and panic consume you, think of ways you can make these next few weeks work for you.
Do that project you've been putting off. Begin a yoga and meditation practice. Read that book that's been collecting dust. Finally deep clean your apartment. Catch up on time with your family. Workout from home. Nourish your body well. Get creative. Evolve your business strategies. Keep moving. Refuse to let laziness and inertia take over. Stay committed to growth. Fuel your body and your mind. Explore what it means to be fully human.
These don't have to be wasted weeks. Put them to use.
When all of this passes, in weeks or months or years, where do you want to be? What do you want to have accomplished? You get to decide that now. Choose wisely.
Most importantly, in these nerve-wracking times remember we are actually more connected than ever.
Social media allows us to share information, data, memes, jokes, advice, ways to support each other, and snapshots of our lives. It allows us to stay connected to each other and our humanity. Please keep posting. Please keep sharing. Please keep letting others know what is going on in your life.
We are not alone in this. We are a global community, all going through the same exact thing. And in that, we remain connected.
