Joshua Tree, California

October 4-9, 2023

join us in the remote and sacred desert of the yucca valley…

Joshua Tree has long been a place for people to come and heal, connect, and restore.

Surrounded by rugged rock formations and stark desert landscapes, the park straddles the cactus-dotted Colorado Desert and the Mojave Desert. A reminder that life can thrive even in the harshest of climates, Joshua Tree offers solace and peace.

Retreat to the desert, connect with other like-minded souls, create art, and hike in a landscape like no other.

Where We’ll Stay

La Brisa Villa is a magical oasis in the high desert designed for complete restoration. Complete with open air common spaces, a pool, and a fire-pit, this lovely hideaway is ideal for connection and relaxation, while being close to local shopping centers, BBQ restaurants, and the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park.

How We’ll Move

Every morning starts with a workout using your bodyweight, resistance bands, and TRX. Each workout combines strength training with cardio that can be modified and adjusted for all experience levels.

Every evening ends with a relaxing and invigorating yoga flow to release tension, unwind, and connect to the breath. Yoga classes are accessible to all levels.

There are both indoor and outdoor spaces for all classes. In between sessions we will stay active through swimming and hiking!

Meet Your Retreat Leaders

Tiana and Brandon are passionate personal trainers and world travelers with a “lean in” approach to life. They believe in saying “yes!,” taking risks, and living boldly. They embody this physically by staying present and strong in their bodies, as well as in their lifestyle by prioritizing travel, new experiences, and personal growth. To them, this is all part of what it means to live a movement-based life— and what they hope to impart to their clients!

Raised in California but now a bonafide New Yorker, Tiana knows what it means to live a life of movement. She started dancing at the age of 2, where she developed a love for the body, movement, and exploration. She is a certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, and Orthopedic Specialist with the American Council on Exercise, a registered Yoga Instructor with the Yoga Alliance, a certified Boxing Coach with Everybody Fights, and a certified Life Coach with the American Life Coach Academy. The only thing that rivals her love of fitness is her love of travel. She has been to over 40 countries with no intention of slowing down!

Brandon is a born and bred New Yorker— and it shows in his passion, drive, and heart. His love of fitness started with track and field, competing in both high school and college and eventually becoming a coach. He is a Personal Trainer, a registered Yoga Instructor with the Yoga Alliance, and a certified Life Coach with the American Life Coach Academy. In his pursuit of physical strength, he strives to bring awareness and mindfulness to all athletic endeavors. He strongly believes that we are the gods we’ve been looking for, with the ability to shape our lives exactly how we want. He lives this personal truth daily and continues to claim power and strength in his life.

Together, they are the Co-Creators of Fire + Voice.
